The ISO 9001:2000 standard is established for all companies and organizations regardless of mission, industry, nationality, size, ownership or any other designation. Recognized worldwide. Since its inception in 1987, less than 5% of the companies in the world, and less than 1% of all companies in the United States, have been registered as ISO compliant, signifying that they have met the stringent audit requirements of a third-party ISO authorized registrar. These ISO audits are continuous and ongoing to maintain ISO certification and registration. In the entire relocation industry in the United States, less than one company in 1,000 has been ISO registered.
